- There is a speed exemption for certain boats in the Noord-Willemskanaal between km 1,00 en km 19,60. Boats with an immersion of less than 1,50 meters can sail up to 9 kilometers per hour within these markers. Boats with an immersion of more than 1,50 meters should still keep 6 kilometers per hour as their maximum speed.
