Second Century Campaign

Philanthropic support is crucially important to the ACU. As an organisation with no core government funding, such support underpins and adds stability to our work. It enables us to enhance the excellence of teaching, research and partnerships, transforming lives and contributing to the betterment of society in concrete ways. Morever, philanthropic support ensures our independence from vested interests.

As we celebrate our Centenary throughout 2013 and 2014, we are marking the occasion with our Second Century Campaign. This will see the creation of the first ever permanent fund to support academic mobility for students and staff throughout the Commonwealth. This fund will go beyond conventional scholarships and will promote opportunities and exchanges that would not otherwise exist.

The Second Century Campaign will increase the ACU’s capacity to provide leadership on new transformative issues in international higher education, helping universities to excel in a world of change and new opportunities. It will also enable us to extend partnerships, career development fellowships, and student scholarships between nations, universities, industries, and professions throughout the Commonwealth.

Our 540 member institutions represent the higher education sector across 37 countries, both developed and developing. With your help, we will ensure the continuing impact and lasting benefit of academic scholarship supported by the ACU and your donations will help us make a real difference.
