Summary: Coordination and Advancement of Sub-Saharan Africa-EU Science and Technology Cooperation (CAAST-Net) was a high-level joint Africa-Europe project whose goal was to pursue an increase in the quality and quantity of bi-regional cooperation in science and technology between Europe and Africa, in both policy and research, targeting areas of mutual interest and benefit. This was done through greater use of instruments under the European Union Seventh Framework Programme, as well as through other instruments of international cooperation and through lobbying for greater synergy between R&D and development instruments.

More information can be found on the CAAST-Net website.

Outputs: Reports were produced, mostly about aspects of EU-Africa cooperation in science and technology. They are archived here.
