Applications are invited for the 2016 Edward Boyle Medical Elective Bursaries. These awards help medical scholars in the UK to obtain valuable practical experience in a developing country of the Commonwealth during their elective study period.

In 2015, the bursaries helped UK medical students to complete electives in Bangladesh, Jamaica, Malawi, South Africa, Sri Lanka, and Uganda.

Interested students should contact their medical dean or elective coordinator to check their institution's internal deadline for applications. However, deans must submit nominations to the ACU by 31 January 2016.
