The Queen: Her Commonwealth Story

The ACU is honoured that HM the Queen is our Patron – a position she has held for over 30 years.

In April, the Queen will welcome the leaders of all 53 Commonwealth countries to London for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM), which the ACU is actively involved in, along with many other Commonwealth civil society organisations.

With CHOGM just a few weeks away, BBC One is airing an in-depth look at Queen Elizabeth's role as Head of the Commonwealth, presented by George Alagiah.

This documentary will trace the Queen's travels throughout the Commonwealth at key moments during the history of the Commonwealth, her influence on world leaders, and analyse her pivotal role as the Head of the Commonwealth, with input from those who are closest to her.
