Across the world, women remain chronically underrepresented in leadership positions.

In our latest blog Professor Cheryl de la Rey, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Pretoria, South Africa, examines why this is and asks 'What can be done to change the status quo in higher education and beyond?'.

She highlights how entrenched societal attitudes contribute to the current status quo and what can be done to counter these attitudes, both at the organisation and individual level.
