ACU Summer School 2018: Designing and creating sustainable communities

Published on 03 July 2018

This year's ACU Summer School is well and truly underway, with more than 40 students from over 20 Commonwealth countries learning how to design and create sustainable communities in Hong Kong through a diverse programme of activities.

Students are busy immersing themselves in Hong Kong's urban environment, from exploring the city's various landmarks to learning about methodologies and practices from leading academic experts in the fields of urban design and sustainability.

To get a flavour for what students have been getting up to so far, check out our blog from Emily Bird – part of the ACU team out in Hong Kong.

The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) is hosting this year's Summer School, and have worked hard to put together a challenging and diverse programme of activity for the students over the course of 9 days.

The ACU would like to thank CUHK for being such wonderful hosts – without them this event would not be possible!
