ACU Measures 2018 – open for benchmarking

ACU Measures 2018 – open for benchmarking

Published on 18 July 2018

The latest performance data on university management across the Commonwealth is now available on the ACU's online benchmarking platform – ACU Measures.

ACU Measures is a pioneering way to help universities compare their practices and policies in a non-competitive way. Participating institutions can benchmark their performance against a wider group of universities from the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) membership.

ACU Measures gives institutions the opportunity to benchmark their performance over time and covers four key areas of university management, including salaries and benefits, research management, gender, and institutional profile. Data on salaries stretches back to 2004, while data in the other three areas stretches back to 2014

Access our pre-made reports on institutional profile, salaries and benefits, research management and gender on ACU Measures.

Benefits to participating institutions:

  • Produce your own individualised reports
  • Use the results to make a case for resources, staff, or training
  • Share experiences and good practice with international colleagues
  • Confidential - only available to users from their respective institution
  • Supports senior university management in decision-making and strategic planning

More details:

  • Non-ACU member institutions can participate in the ACU Measures exercise via their respective Professional RMA association
  • Professional associations willing to collaborate with the ACU can pay a single fee for the participation of all their non-ACU members
