The Partnership for African Social & Governance Research (PASGR), in collaboration with the Think Tank Initiative (TTI), a multi-donor programme implemented by the International Development Research Centre (IDRC), is undertaking a study that aims to achieve a better understanding of think tank-university relations.

PASGR has extended its call for interested individuals or two-person teams to participate by undertaking country-specific case studies in the following countries or country pairs:

• Mozambique and Zimbabwe;

• South Africa (cannot be combined with another country);

• Senegal and Benin;

• Nigeria (cannot be combined with another country);

• Ethiopia and Tanzania.

Details are available at www.pasgr.org/think-tank-university-relations-in-africa-english/. The deadline for submissions has been extended to 12.00 noon, Kenya time on Monday 4 February 2013.

Any enquiries should be sent to [email protected]

The Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) was involved in the initial establishment of PASGR, working with the British Council and ODI to secure funding from the UK Department for International Development, and undertaking a series of scoping studies to inform the development of its initial programmes.
