The ACU is proud of its continuing partnership with WISE and is delighted to announce that the ‘2013 WISE Awards’ has opened its call for applications. The WISE Awards aim each year to celebrate six innovative educational projects for their positive contribution within a community or society and we warmly encourage our member universities to submit proposals.

WISE seeks to share best practices the world over and inspire others to spark change in education. The WISE Awards thus highlight today’s most innovative solutions and approaches that are addressing educational challenges confronting the world at large, be it a project that provides access to quality education, creates new opportunities for lifelong learning or develops innovative educational technologies.

Project holders from any region, educational sector or level are encouraged to submit applications which demonstrate the quality and impact of their activities in accordance with the criteria.

Winning projects will receive USD 20,000 and will benefit from global exposure via the WISE network. Previous WISE Awards winners have come from all corners of the Commonwealth, including India, the UK, Ghana and South Africa.
