On Tuesday 9 September between 1000-1200h BST (1400-1600h in Pakistan), the ACU along with the COMSATS Institute of Information Technology (CIIT) and the Commonwealth Students' Association will host a live online web chat where we will explore the relationship between higher education and global development.

The theme will be 'Challenges of higher education in developing countries', and everyone is welcome to join. In preparation for the discussion, we would recommend that you consider some of these following questions and be prepared to share your thoughts on any of them, or raise related questions:

• How is university governance impacted by the socio-political culture of developing countries?

• What is the role of students in the implementation of the post-2015 agenda/SDGs?

• Should development priorities be used in planning university courses and curricula?

• How are universities preparing young graduates for the regional job markets, and what can be done to improve the education to work transition?

• How can student voices be strengthened in the post-2015 higher education world?

• Does higher education benefit only those who are able to attend/access it?
