About the recipients

Each year, Edward Boyle Medical Elective Bursaries are awarded to UK medical students who are wishing to undertake their medical elective in a developing Commonwealth country. These bursaries help support students to experience an elective in an environment that they have not previously experienced and develop new and existing skills.
