The city centre has five car parks with space for over 1.500 cars. There are about 900 paid parking places along the streets. The Veemarkt area offers free parking for over 600 cars. Separate parking space for disabled persons can be found throughout the city. Each Saturday a free shuttle bus connects Veemarkt and the city centre.
From various directions visitors will be guided by signs to the city centre, where they automatically arrive at the parking route. All car parks and the main parking facilities are signposted along this route.
Season-tickets for car parks and parking permits are available at the municipality. This is also the place to apply for a parking exemption, for instance if you need to visit a pedestrian area.
